Anwar elaborated on his proposal to the CCIBA saying:

As Cape Town has changed over the years, not just as a city but as individuals, we all have changed collectively. I would like to illustrate characters expressing these changes... The idea is to take one personality, e.g. the flower lady in Adderley Street and create her ideas with images of her struggles, triumphs and even her ambitions. I feel my style of work is very experimental which means I have a very organic approach.
